San Francisco Cannabis Oversight Committee Proposed Goal
The Oversight Committee will advise the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor regarding the implementation and enforcement of City laws and regulations relating to cannabis. Specifically, the Committee will advise the Board on amendments to local laws and regulations, including those governing the Equity Program, to facilitate socially responsible growth of the cannabis industry by creating living wage jobs and economic opportunities consistent with the Board's intent in adopting Police Code Article 16.
Due to the COVID-19 emergency, in order to protect the health of Committee members, staff, and members of the public, the San Francisco Cannabis Oversight Committee will convene remotely for this meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to participate remotely.
